The Block Party Band Our dance has a reputation for having a capacity (or near capacity) crowd of attractive singles nearly every Sunday night. We are also known for the fact that nearly everyone is on the dance floor for nearly every dance song,. We can only maintain that reputation by having a line up of the best bands in Central Pennsylvania. We have been watching Block Party since the band was formed about a year ago. It appears to us that they may be ready to join the elite circle that plays for us on a regular basis. Block Party is a variety dance band that scores 150 degrees on the excitement meter. This band has taken the town by storm. Their repertoire includes the range of popular music ... oldies, Motown, disco, country, funk, classic rock, soft rock and more. They do a great with the combination of fast and slow music that sets our dances apart and keeps them interesting, They take requests and do them on the spot.
